Travels

After leaving Shanghai I met up with my mate Shaun in Bangkok. I hadn't seen him since I left Australia 5 years earlier. We travelled by bus, tuk-tuk, boat, and scooter through Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. We also visited the Phillipines and Bali, Indonesia. The trip ended with a return to my old town, Mount Barker, where I met up with some of my old mates and we did a road trip together down the Great Ocean Road.

Upon knowledge that China would be closed for Covid, Angelo and I decided to attend classes online while backpacking South America. We started in Colombia, made our way to Brazil, Paraguay, Argentina, and Uruguay. This trip was revolved around self-awereness and going deep into what it means to be Yauri. Highlights include hiking through Tayrona Park with our squad, Rio de Janeiro sunsets, kitesurfing in Cabo de la Vela, Argentina/Uruguay World Cup watch parties, and the road to self-discovery.

4095 miles of driving across 13 different states. The trip started in Yuba City, California, and ended in Orlando, Florida. Some of the highlights of the trip were the mirrored lakes in Wyoming, going for a long run with Dani in the fields of Kansas, the sunset in Little Rock, Arkansas, the cheapest gas in the US in Blackwell, Oklahoma, and finding my family's new home in Orlando.

We went across Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississipi, Alabama, and Florida.
